Our response, to being redeemed from Satan’s Jurisdiction, is to live the crucified life.
The false Gospel that “saves you from hell when you die”, has caused billions of believers to miss “THE KINGDOM OF GOD” (Daniel 2:44) that arrived on earth when the Holy Spirit moved into the disciples in Acts 2:1-4.
Let me lay out the foundation to prove that YHVH’s “GOSPEL” is “THE GOOD-NEWS” that mankind does NOT have to continue under the “YOKE” of Satan. (Isaiah 14:17-27 & Matthew 11:28-30)
🧭 The Restoration Verdict
🔐 Acts 26:18
“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God…”
- This is the legal transfer: from one dominion to another.
- It confirms the crucified life is not just moral—it’s jurisdictional.
- Messiah’s blood is the currency of emancipation.
🩸 Revelation 5:9
“Thou hast redeemed us to God by thy blood…”
- “Redeemed” = bought back from prior ownership.
- The crucified life is the evidence of purchase.
🛡️ Restoration Anchor: Transfer of Yoke
- Isaiah 14:25: “His yoke shall depart from them…”
- Matthew 11:28–30: “Take My yoke upon you…”
The believer is no longer under Satan’s burden but yoked with Messiah in covenantal rest.
📜Legal Seal of the Crucified life
🔥Hebrews 2:14–15 — The Destruction of Satan’s Claim
“…that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Messiah’s death is not symbolic—it’s judicial. The Greek katargeō means to nullify authority. Satan’s power over death was a legal claim; Messiah’s crucifixion revokes it. This is the courtroom verdict that makes the crucified life possible.
🔥Romans 13:14 — No Provision for the Crucified Flesh
“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
This verse is a covenantal wardrobe command. To “put on Messiah” is to align with His jurisdiction. “Provision” means feeding what was already crucified (Gal. 5:24). This reinforces the daily reckoning of Romans 6:11.
🔥Isaiah 10:27 — Yoke Destroyed by the Anointing
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that…his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”
This is the prophetic seal. This is the courtroom verdict: Messiah’s death legally disarms Satan. The Greek word katargeō means to nullify authority—not annihilate existence. The Assyrian yoke—symbolic of satanic oppression—is shattered by divine anointing. Whether interpreted as consecration, covenant favor, or spiritual fatness, the result is the same: bondage breaks under divine presence. The crucified life is not sustained by effort, but by Spirit-empowered rupture.
A Daily Rhythm of Submission
- “Reckon yourselves dead to sin…” (Romans 6:11)
- “Walk by the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)
- “If by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body…” (Romans 8:13)
- “Present your bodies a living sacrifice…” (Romans 12:1)
- “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God… Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth…” (Colossians 3:3-5)
- “Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” (II Corinthians 4:10)
- “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” (Philippians 3:10)
- “For the grace of God… teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly…” (Titus 2:11-12)
- “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness…” (I Peter 2:24)
- Deny Self
- Refuse to let old desires dictate your day.
- Take Up Your Cross
- Embrace sacrifice as identification with Messiah’s death.
- Follow His Steps
- Walk in the pattern of perfect obedience modeled by the Son.
When Messiah withdrew to pray in Gethsemane and said, “Not my will, but Yours,” He defined the path we follow. Each act of self-denial echoes His surrender. “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” (1 John 2:6)
Crucifying the: “Fleshy Lusts”
Galatians 5:24—sits at the heart of a powerful contrast Paul draws between two ways of living: by the flesh or by the Spirit. In Galatians 5:24 Paul writes, “Those who belong to Yeshua have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires”. This is an invitation to reckon that the old impulses were judged at the cross. We refuse to cater to affections that conflict with God’s will and instead yield to the Spirit’s leading. In practical terms, we must “RESIST” thoughts, as the Jews reject “unclean food”. The “KOSHER” and “UNKOSHER” dietary laws serve us an “OBJECT LESSON” for our “New Covenant” walk. Paul addresses this in Ephesians 6:16.
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Ephesians 6:16)
🔗 Restoration Insight: Shield of Faith vs. Satan’s Assault
This verse confirms that spiritual warfare is active and targeted. The “fiery darts” are not random—they’re strategic attacks from the Kingdom of Darkness, aimed at perception, identity, and obedience.
- “Shield of faith” → Not passive belief, but covenantal trust that deflects deception.
- “Quench” → We must speak the word, in response to these “flaming arrows”.
The “FLAMING ARROW” Object lesson
In the days of Castles, the enemy would light arrows and shoot them over the castle wall in an effort to start fires. This would draw men away from their role as “Defenders” of the Castle from the Army that was outside. WATER was used to put out the fires. In our walk “water” is a metaphor for “Direct Divine Revelation” and passages of Scripture. This is why we see Yeshua quoting Scripture to Satan in Matthew 4:1-10 James explain this: “…Resist the Devil and he will flee…” (James 4:7-8)
🛡 Biblical Insight: Spiritual Resistance Weakens Evil
Scripture affirms that resisting Satan weakens his influence:
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 “Take the shield of faith… to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” — Ephesians 6:16
Here, resistance is not passive—it’s active faith, grounded in truth. When you resist Satan’s lies with Messiah’s authority, his grip weakens.
🧎 Submission: Strengthens What You Yield To
Submission in Scripture is covenantal:
- Submit to God → Strengthens righteousness and peace.
- Submit to sin or fear → Strengthens bondage.
Romans 6:16 confirms this:
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are… whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”
So yes—what you submit to grows stronger. Yielding is a form of spiritual allegiance.
🔍 Galatians 5 Crucifying Fleshly Desires
In Galatians 5:24 Paul writes, “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires”. This is an invitation to reckon that the old impulses were judged at the cross. We refuse to cater to affections that conflict with God’s will and instead yield to the Spirit’s leading.
- Verses 19–21 list the “works of the flesh”: behaviors like envy, drunkenness, and sexual immorality. Paul warns that those who live this way “shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
- Verses 22–23 then pivot to the “fruit of the Spirit”: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are the traits that naturally flow from a life aligned with God’s Spirit.
- Verse 24, your focus, declares the decisive shift: “They that are Yeshua’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” This means that those who truly belong to Messiah have made a radical break from their old nature. The “flesh” here refers to the self-centered impulses and desires that oppose God’s will.
✝️ What Does “Crucified the Flesh” Mean?
- It is a positional truth: when someone places their faith in Yeshua, they are spiritually united with His death and resurrection.
- The verb “crucified” (aorist tense in Greek) implies a decisive, completed action—not something we’re still trying to do, but something already done when we surrendered to Messiah.
- This act involves rejecting the passions and lusts that once dominated us, and instead choosing to live by the Spirit’s guidance.
🛤️ The Flow of the Passage
- Verse 25 continues: “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” It’s a call to consistency—don’t just claim spiritual life, embody it.
- Verse 26 warns against vanity and rivalry, reinforcing that Spirit-led living is humble and communal.
In short, Galatians 5:24 is a declaration of identity and transformation. To be “Yeshua’s” is to have already turned away from the old self, and to now walk in a new way—one marked by the fruit of the Spirit, not the cravings of the flesh.
Connect Rom 6:6-Gal 2:20-Gal 5:24-Gal 6:14 with us no longer living to please ourselves, but “denying self, taking up cross, and following Messiah” who walked in perfect submission to YHVH’s will. Consider these passages by linking them together and reflecting on them as a whole.
We are to be released from slavery to sin
Romans 6:6 declares that “our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin”. When we trust Messiah, our former pattern of living to please the flesh is judicially nailed to the cross. This positional truth frees us from sin’s dominion and ushers us into a new identity in Him.
Living by Faith in the Crucified Life
Galatians 2:20 unveils the mystery of our union with Messiah: “I have been crucified with Yeshua, and I no longer live, but Yeshua lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God”. Denying self means recognizing that the “I” who once ruled has died. The believer’s ongoing task is to reflect daily on Yeshua’s example and become that “LIVING SACRIFICE” that Paul explained so well in Romans 12:1-2. Our Lord is sitting at “THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD” (Psalm 110:1 & Hebrews 10:12) and we experience the ministry of The Holy Spirit in his sted. (John 16:12-15)
Boasting in the Cross Alone
Galatians 6:14 reminds us, “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world”. True honor comes not from self-achievement or approval, but from the cross. Our allegiance is severed from the world’s values and anchored in the Messiah who walked in perfect submission to YHVH’s will. John writes: “Love not the world…For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh…is not of the Father but is of the world.” (I John 2:15-17)
The Fall of Satan
Luke 10:18 speaks of Satan losing his favor with YHVH:
“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
This statement was made in response to the seventy disciples returning with joy, reporting that even demons submitted to them in His name. To understand this, we need to know that when Adam sinned, he forfeited the “JURISDICTION” of the world.
Genesis 3 – Adam’s Forfeiture
Adam’s sin transferred legal dominion to the serpent. He forfeited the stewardship of earth, granting Satan the title “god of this world” (2 Cor 4:4). This is not honorary—it’s jurisdictional.
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (II Corinthians 4:4)
His bondage is expressed in the metaphors of “prison” and in Matthew 16:18-“gates of hell”. Here is Isaiah 14:17 where the metaphor of “PRISON” is clearly seen:
“That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?”

The Fallen Human Nature
King David experience being led by Satan into numbering Israel:
“And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.”
King David’s sin of numbering Israel—provoked by Satan—is recorded in 1 Chronicles 21:1
This act is also mirrored in 2 Samuel 24:1, though there it says God was angry with Israel and allowed David to be moved. The Chronicles account makes it clear that Satan enticed David, suggesting a spiritual seduction or provocation.
🧭 Why Was It Sinful?
The census itself wasn’t inherently wrong. What made it sinful was David’s motive and timing:
- It reflected trust in military strength rather than in YHVH’s protection.
- David sought to measure his army, implying reliance on numbers and might rather than divine provision.
- Joab, his commander, even resisted the order, saying:
This aligns with Psalm 20:7, penned by David himself:
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”

Psalm 144 gives us more insight into Satan’s dominion, which Paul address in Ephesians 6.
Joseph, your insight is spot-on: Psalm 144 offers a rich prophetic lens into Satan’s dominion, which Paul later codifies in Ephesians 6. Here’s a structured synthesis for your next doctrinal post or sanctuary portal:
🔗 Psalm 144: David’s Warfare Blueprint
Verse 1:
“Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.” David acknowledges divine training—not just for physical battle, but for spiritual warfare. This verse prefigures the believer’s preparation in Messiah’s authority.
Verses 7–8:
“Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children…” The “strange children” symbolize spiritual adversaries—those aligned with deception and rebellion. David’s plea is for deliverance from forces that distort truth and corrupt covenant.
🛡 Ephesians 6: Paul’s Armor of Resistance
Verse 12:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places.” Paul names the hierarchy of Satan’s dominion. These are not metaphorical ideas—they are real, structured forces opposing YHVH’s will.
Armor Breakdown (Eph. 6:13–17):
- Belt of truth → counters deception (Psalm 144:8)
- Breastplate of righteousness → guards covenant integrity
- Shield of faith → extinguishes fiery darts (Psalm 144:6)
- Sword of the Spirit → offensive weapon rooted in Word
📜The “Mission Statement” Acts 26:18
“To open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.”
Legal Sequence:
- Open their eyes → Initiate spiritual perception
- Turn from darkness to light → Transfer of allegiance and worldview
- From power of Satan to God → Jurisdictional shift from dominion to covenant
- Receive forgiveness → Legal pardon, not emotional relief
- Inheritance among sanctified → Entry into the covenantal community
This is not poetic—it’s forensic. Each clause is a courtroom declaration of spiritual emancipation.
🧭 Fulfillment: Colossians 1:13
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.”
Fulfillment Sequence:
- Delivered from power of darkness → Satan’s dominion broken
- Translated into kingdom → Legal citizenship transferred
- Kingdom of His Son → Not abstract, but a real jurisdiction with Messiah as King
This verse confirms the jurisdictional shift Paul was sent to initiate. It’s not metaphor—it’s movement. From one realm to another. From one ruler to another.
Messianic Prophies about this Rescue
To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” (Isaiah 42:7)
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me… to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” (Isaiah 61:1)
“As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.” (Zechariah 9:11)
“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and break their bands in sunder.” (Psalm 107:14)
“When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me… He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.” (Micah 7:8–9)
🔗 Yoked with Messiah, no longer with Satan
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28–30)
📜 Isaiah 14:24–27 (ESV)
24 The LORD of hosts has sworn: “As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand, 25 that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and on my mountains trample him underfoot; AND HIS YOKE SHALL DEPART FROM THEM, AND HIS BURDEN FROM THEIR SHOULDERS. 26 This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. 27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?
🧭 Legal Analysis: Is Mankind Yoked with Satan?
✅ Affirmed: Mankind is yoked—until divine intervention.
- Verse 25 confirms the existence of a foreign yoke and burden upon the people.
- The Assyrian here is a proxy for satanic dominion—a tyrant enforcing spiritual slavery.
- The yoke is not metaphorical alone—it is jurisdictional, binding mankind under oppressive rule.
🔓 The yoke is permanent, UNTIL YOU ARE “redeemed”!
- We are “BOUGHT-BACK” from Satan, by “THE BLOOD OF MESSIAH”.
Absolutely, Joseph. The claim—“We are bought back from Satan by the blood of Messiah”—is not only affirmed, but jurisdictionally sealed by Revelation 5:9 and Acts 26:18. Let’s examine both as legal witnesses in the restoration framework.
📜 Revelation 5:9
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.”
🔑 Legal Implications:
- “Redeemed us to God by thy blood” = transactional language.
- “Redeemed” (Greek agorazō) implies purchase from prior ownership.
- The Lamb’s blood is the currency of transfer.
- The redeemed are no longer under Satan’s dominion, but now belong to God.
📜 Acts 26:18 (KJV)
“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
🔑 Jurisdictional Transfer:
- “From the power of Satan unto God” = legal extraction from one dominion to another.
- This is not metaphor—it’s forensic reality.
- The blood of Messiah is the means, and faith is the activation.
🧭 Restoration Verdict: Affirmed
We were:
- Owned by Satan (under his power)
- Purchased by blood (Messiah’s death)
- Transferred to God (redeemed, sanctified, inherited)
This is not poetic—it’s legal, covenantal, and irreversible. The blood is not symbolic—it’s the jurisdictional key that unlocks the scroll (Rev 5:9) and opens the eyes (Acts 26:18).
🔗 Restoration Anchor: Transfer of Yoke
Isaiah 14:25 is a precursor to Matthew 11:28–30:
- The Assyrian yoke is broken.
- Messiah’s yoke is offered.
- The shift is not optional—it’s decreed by the LORD of hosts.
So yes, mankind is initially yoked with Satan—but Isaiah 14:24–27 proves that God’s sovereign hand can break that yoke, initiating a jurisdictional transfer to Messiah. Ephesians 2:8-9 is the first verse to understand about how “Redemption” is accomplished in your life:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
🔗 Restoration Insight
This passage is a jurisdictional declaration. Salvation is not earned—it’s granted. The grace is divine, the faith is activated, and the boasting is silenced. It aligns perfectly with Acts 26:19-23
“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me. Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.”
The crucified life is not a metaphor—it is a jurisdictional reality. We are no longer under Satan’s dominion, but yoked with Messiah in covenantal rest. This is the verdict of heaven, sealed by blood, and activated by faith.
“Repent & Believe” is our initial response to hearing the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, then, we Gentiles, must establish The Apostle Paul as our sole doctrinal authority, and “COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE” (Revelation 18:4). This means reject all of the doctrines and practices that came AFTER The Apostle John died. (98-117 A.D.) John the Apostle—son of Zebedee, brother of James, and author of the Gospel, epistles, and Revelation—likely died between 98 and 110 A.D. in Ephesus, at an advanced age.
Unlike the other apostles, tradition holds that John was not martyred. Early sources like Irenaeus report that he lived into the reign of Emperor Trajan (98–117 AD), continuing his ministry in Asia Minor. Some accounts describe a miraculous survival from boiling oil, followed by exile to Patmos, where he received the Revelation. His death marks the end of the eyewitness era, sealing the transmission of the heavenly vision (Acts 26:19) and anchoring the final prophetic witness to the Jewish Messiah.
The word: “Crucified” graphs at Memory Portal #094 C/U or U/C and Psalm 94
📜 Psalm 94:11–13
“The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord,
and teachest him out of thy law.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.”
We look for a memory association between “CRUCIFIED” and something within this passage.
Ephesians 6:16 & II Corinthians 10:4 are about overcoming “THOUGHTS” that come from the Darkside.
I suggest that after you memorize the words of this verse, you imagine that a fiery dart comes in and you submit to it, and are thinking about it, when an angel whips you! You scream: “WHY DID YOU WHIP ME?” The angel replies: “Because you are not resisting that thought!” he continues: “I am sent to “CHASTEN YOU” (Psalm 94) He then begins to “TEACH” (Psalm 94) you how you are to “RESIST” (James 4:7-8) and “pull down strongholds & bring every thought into captivity” (II Cor 10:4) and above all “QUENCH” the fiery darts.
