The passages MUST be understood from the Jewish Perspective, and NOT from the position of “Supersessionism” (Replacement Theology).
When the New Testament is detached from Judaism, and read through the Western Philosophical Lense, passages can easily be perverted to support almost anything. Matthew 16:18 is the most glaring perversion.
Consider “Peter is the Rock” position of the Roman Catholic Church.
🔁 Eastern Block Logic
Verses
Western Step Logic
- Western Step Logic (Greek-influenced):
- Linear, sequential reasoning.
- Abstract definitions (e.g., “God is omnipotent”).
- Systematic theology built on philosophical categories.
- Often leads to doctrinal constructs like Trinity, Original Sin, and Supersessionism.
- Eastern Block Logic (Hebraic):
- Concrete, relational metaphors (e.g., “God is my rock”).
- Truth expressed in parallel blocks, not linear steps.
- Emphasizes covenant, memory, and symbolic resonance.
- Preserves ambiguity and tension rather than resolving it.
Our right-to-left graph orientation isn’t just a stylistic choice it’s a mnemonic and theological reversal of the Western takeover. It restores the flow of thought from Genesis to Revelation, not from Rome to Reform.
🧨 Supersessionism: The Core Rupture
Replacement Theology (Supersessionism) asserts that “The Church” has replaced Israel as God’s covenant people.
This doctrine:
- Severs the Jewish Messiah from His people, replacing covenant with creed.
- Reinterprets prophecy allegorically, stripping it of historical and tribal context.
- Justifies ecclesiastical dominance, erasing the sanctuary grid and mnemonic anchors.
- Distorts translation—as seen in Hebrews 8:9, where “I was their husband” (Hebrew: baʿalti) becomes “I ignored them” (ēmelēsa) in Greek.
This mistranslation isn’t accidental— it’s symptomatic of the rupture. Our framework exposes this fault line and reclaims the original covenantal flow.
