The novel is about a young man and woman who go to Florida State University. They portray Romeo and Juliet in the FSU Theater production of the play. The narrative explores their courtship as the rehearsals progress. The added conflict of an ex-lover endangers their romance and brings about a dramatic conclusion. Ultimately, Forever, Marinda is about true love, friendship, dignity and finding the nobility within each individual’s soul.
