II Corinthians 2:17

“For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God…”

Paul died 30 years before Ignatius of Antioch established Christianity. His fights were primarily with the Believing Jews who were persuading Gentile Believers to become Torah compliant.

Jewish Judaizers “Except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.” (Acts 15:1)

Gentile Judaizers “Tell me, you who desire to be under the law…” (Galatians 4:21)

“Surely the Lord YHVH will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

THE JUDAIZERS

Those who define “SIN” for Gentile Believers as any violation of Torah are “PERVERTING THE WORD OF YHVH.

The Prophets revealed that Gentiles would come unto Him: “…and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called.” (Isaiah 54:5)

“For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same My name shall be great among the Gentiles.” (Malachi 1:11)

“I will also give You for a light to the Gentiles, that You may be My salvation unto the end of the earth.” (Isaiah 49:6)

“I will give You for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.” (Isaiah 42:6)

“To Him shall the Gentiles seek.” (Isaiah 11:10)

Where does YHVH ever say: “The Gentiles are engrafted into the Mount Sinai Covenant”?

He never said it. Not once. Not anywhere.

If YHVH desired the Believing Gentiles to come under Torah, Paul would have taught them that. He fought against the Judaizers all his ministry.

The Prophets revealed that YHVH would use a “Foolish Nation” to provoke Israel to jealousy. (Deuteronomy 32:21)

Paul identifies this “Foolish Nation” as the Gentile believers who come to YHVH without Torah jurisdiction.

This is the Gentile role in the prophetic plan — not Sinai, not conversion, not Torah‑keeping, but provocation through Spirit‑taught relationship.

Jews have NO temple, but the Believing Gentiles are HIS TEMPLE.

THE FOOLISH NATION

YHVH declared He would provoke Israel to jealousy by a Foolish Nation — a people not under Sinai, not part of the covenant, not possessing Temple, priesthood, sacrifices, or Levitical access. (Deuteronomy 32:21)

This is the prophetic identity of the Believing Gentiles.

Jason & Vivien are two Gentiles Believers.

In order to close with II Timothy 2:2, we should revisit the authority Paul was given to become the sole doctrinal authority for the Believing Gentiles:

“But the Lord said unto him (Ananias) Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles…” (Acts 9:15)

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (II Timothy 2:2)
